The Driver for this device might be corrupted, or your system may be running low on memory or other resources (Code 3)
When you observe that your computer is facing some sort of hardware problem and results slowness in execution. Then you think of opening Device Manager Window for concerned hardware. If you see an error message in the Device status window saying “The driver for this device might be corrupted, or your system may be running low on memory or other resources. (Code 3)”, you can address this issue by following easy steps given below. The main reason behind this problem is low available RAM or you have opened a lot of apps simultaneously.
How to solve Device Manager Properties Status Error?
- Switch off or close some of the applications –
If you have opened so much application at a time, you can close some of them to free up resources as well as memory. So before closing any apps, you need to open the Task Manager and check whether your system is using high resources or not. If yes is the answer, start closing some apps based on the usage. For that select the application, right click on it and click on End task button.
- Perform Uninstall and reinstall the driver –
If you observe that your device driver is corrupted, uninstall the driver and scan for new hardware to install the fresh driver again. For this click on Action Menu in Device Manager and then click on Scan for hardware changes.
- Installation of Extra RAM –
In case your computer has insufficient memory to run the driver, then you need to close some of the applications to make memory free or you can install an additional RAM in it.
