To Change sounds with visual alternative in window 10, Goto Start and type “Replace sounds with visual cues” and then select Replace sounds with visual cues. Then select the options that you want to use there.

To change sounds with visual alternative in these versions of window follow the steps.

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen and then tap Search.
  2. Type “Replace sounds with visual cues” and select Replace sounds with visual cues.

Now choose the options provided there as per your need.

How to use Visual cues in Window 7

In order to change sounds with visual alternative in window 7, the user need follow the steps given below.

  1. Go to start button and select Control panel followed by Ease of Access.
  2. Now select Ease of Access Center there and then check for option “Use text or visual alternative for sounds”.

After following the steps given above in concerned windows versions, Turn on visual notification for sounds and also turn on text captions for spoken dialog. By switching on visual notification, the system will replace sounds with visual cues such as the flash on the screen. By switching on text captions, window will display text captions in place of sounds to indicate the events or activity going on with your PC. The user can choose the ways sound notification will warn you.
