First of all, the user need to uninstall the VPN software using on computer and go for restart to check if problem is solved. If the problem resists follow the steps given below. For information point of view, a user must know that “Raspppoe.sys” is a driver file which is responsible for communication with any hardware connected to your computer.

  1. Reregister Raspppoe.sys File

Raspppoe.sys is a Window RAS PPPoE mini port driver. So, user need to Reregister raspppoe.sys file to solve the issue. The user can reregister raspppoe.sys file by entering “regsvr32 raspppoe.sys “on Run Command Window. Once all done restart the computer and check if problem is solved. If same problem is seen then try more steps given below.

  1. Run Network Troubleshooter

Secondly, Go to Settings and open Network Troubleshooter and follow the instructions if asked. Check if troubleshooting works. Otherwise open run window and type “msdt.exe /id NetworkDiagnosticsNetworkAdapter” to open Network Troubleshooter.

  1. Reset Internet Protocol or TCP/IP Protocol –

With the help of Net Shell Utility, you can reset TCP/IP protocol to default values.

  1. Use the Latest Available Driver for the Modem –

Go to Device Manager, uninstall and reinstall the Modem. The user may visit official website to download the latest driver and check if all works.

  1. Cancel Auto Tuning Feature

The auto tuning is processed to improve the performance of any program which receives TCP data over the network. Open Auto Tuning and disable it to see that problem is resolved.
