How to fix ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY issue – Most of us have experienced a popular Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) scene on our computer. In BSOD, Computer screen gets blue with an error message. Computer reboot continuously without break till Power is off. It results loss of unsaved work. We cannot retain the unsaved data lost at the time of BSOD. There are many reasons behind the execution error. The faulty or malicious drivers might lead to BSOD. The error in the RAM might be the reason. Sometimes unwanted malware cause BSOD. ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY.

In this article, we deal on messages shown in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). The error code associated with this message will be Ox000000FC. The message includes process to overcome BSOD. The actual message would be “Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’re just collecting some error info, and then we’ll restart for you. (50% complete)“. Before troubleshooting, create a system restore point, so that we can rollback if something goes wrong.

Procedure to fix ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY

  1. Update Security Patches with Windows 10 Update

Go to search bar and type Windows update. In Search list Click on Check for Updates (System Settings). Now click on Check for Updates. As a result, all updates are downloaded & installed. This will update all security related patches in our system.

  1. Perform Virus/ Malware Scan Check

The scan could be reliable using Windows Defender Security Center. Apart from this we can use other antivirus program. On Antivirus Dashboard, perform Quick Scan first. Then go for full scan. It is recommended to set boot time scan to remove any boot time culprit.

  1. Update all device drivers

We need to update drivers which are used prominently. This can easily be done through Control Panel. Go to search bar and type control panel. Now navigate to Uninstall a program under Programs. Select the driver and click on update. Wait till update is completed.

  1. Perform Memory Check

Perform memory check will diagnose computer for memory problems. Sometimes memory problem can cause your computer to lose information or stop working. Press WINKEY + R button combination to launch RUN utility. In run command, type mdsched.exe and hit enter. As a result Windows Memory Diagnostic will open. The Windows Memory Diagnostic Window consists of two options.

  1. Restart now and check for problems (recommended)
  2. Check for problems the next time I start my computer

With each option, computer will restart and check for memory based problems. It will automatically detect & resolve the issue.

  1. Perform System File Checker (SFC) though Command Prompt.

Press Window + X button to open list of events. Click on Command Prompt (Admin) from the list. We can also type cmd in the search bar to open Command Prompt Window. Now type sfc/ scannow in Command Prompt. As a result, it will show scan completion message. If it shows message like “Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations” then no issue was found with the computer.
