  • Adobe Reader Settings Changes

Open the Adobe Reader Application and click on Edit Option available in the list. Now click on Preferences in the Edit menu. In the new Preference window, select Security Enhances under ‘Categories’. Under the Sandbox protection disable the “Protected Mode at Startup” option. Then perform check on “Enable Enhanced Security” option and close it. Check if problem is solved else proceed the next option.

  • Repairing the Adobe Reader Installation –

This method will be helpful when adobe reader and its resources could be corrupt which is hampering the further execution. In that case repair the damaged Adobe reader application.

Just open the Adobe Reader or Acrobat. Click on Help button in the menu. Hit the Repair Adobe Reader Installation option and Restart. If this does not work, you have to download the latest update patch.

So, to check the latest update – Open the Adobe Reader again and click on help button. Then Hit on “Check for update” from the help drop down menu. Again, in the update box, click on download to have a new version and restart. There are other options to resolve this error are by Uninstall/ Install the Adobe reader application and Changing the Default PDF reader Application.
