Amazon Kindle Fire E-book Reader popularity – Initially, Amazon was the Company that sold only books but after facing several challenges it is now dealing with things from computer hardware to tooth paste or say everything. In 2007, it had introduced the kindle e-reader. The kindle uses electronic ink to display images and texts. Although Kindle e-reader consume battery power when connected to network or when changes in pages is to be viewed. Apart from this battery last more without seeking recharge before one week.

Also, the storage space is sufficient to carry thousands of books. But with such an extensive feature the model does not show any popularity. Finally, Amazon had decided to launch a new device known as Kindle Fire in September 2017. Since the new model does not use e-ink to display images or texts. The kindle fire allow user to run apps, web browsing, video playing, e-books reading and listening music. It has a LDC display which is of capacitive type.

The capacitive touch screen possesses weak electric field which allow it to work properly. When a user touches the touch screen the weak electric field senses a change in the field and as a result the respective spot is countered. The size of Kindle fire is 7 Inches (17.8 cm) which is smaller in size that Apple’s iPad tablet. The size is similar to the standard Amazon kindle e-reader. At the bottom edge there are two ports and one button. The ports include a micro-USB port for charging & Sharing and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

A power on/off button is provided there. And the rest control is done with the help of virtual button over the capacitive touch screen interface. It consists of a lithium ion battery to provide power. There is 1GHz value Processor of dual core configuration called the OMAP 4430. A 8-gigabyte (GB) flash memory chip from Samsung. A power management IC chip from Texas Instruments. A transmitter, audio codec and bus transceiver chips from Texas Instruments, A Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/FM transceiver module from Jorjin and a touch screen controller.
