  • Turn off Windows Fast Startup

This will disable quick boot up of PC so that Kernel session do their complete work. Open Control panel > All Control Panel Items > Power Options > Choose What the Power button do > Navigate to Shutdown Settings > Uncheck the radio button saying "Turn on fast startup".

  • Remove External hardware at the time of upgrading or updating.

This is because update gets stuck due to unavailability of required drivers.

  • Update Device Drivers

Although Windows update download and install all device drivers automatically. If you find that driver update is pending, you can download & install it from manufacturer website.

  • Disable running Antivirus

We recommend our Clients to use Windows Defender rather than another antivirus. You can disable or completely remove untrusted antivirus of no use. Open the antivirus and disable it from settings. Else go to control panel and uninstall it completely.

  • Repairing hard disk related issues

If your hard drive is having problem run the Check disk command in run Window. Open run command window and run chkdsk command.
