The iertutil.dll file causes Internet Explorer to Crash. The iertutil.dll file hits the IE Run Time Utility Library normal execution. We can check that iertutil.dll file is creating the issue or not. Procedure to Fix Internet Explorer Crash due to iertutil.dll on Windows PC
Perform Uninstallation and then reinstallation of IE using Window Features.
Go to Start button and Search for Control Panel. Then click on Uninstall a Program provided under the Program menu. Under the dialog box search for Internet Explorer 11 and just uncheck it. Click on Ok. Then system will automatically reboot and uninstall the Internet Explorer 11. Again, open the box and select Internet Explorer 11 and reboot to reinstall it.
Open Command Prompt window with admin privilege and execute the following command.
"fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\&fsutil usn deletejournal /d /n c:&Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup&&sfc /scannow&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth&sfc /scannow&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase&pause"
Once the process is completed, again execute the command to run a System File Checker.
After execution restart the PC to check if problem is solved.
