How to Manage Apps access to File System in Windows 10How to Manage Apps access to File System in Windows 10-  Whenever we install apps on our system or on Windows 10 PCs. It wants access to our File system i.e. it needs hard drive storage to permanently save files on regularly basis.  But the major problem is related with providing complete access to storage. On working with Windows 10 we can prevent our installed apps to access the file system.

This will not able to access files from your document, OneDrive, Images etc. and other folders without asking us. We can also call it as a privacy enhancement related to our working. Microsoft is helpful in controlling the apps, as every single operation can be performed only by our permission.

To Manage the safety, follow these steps:-



Go to Setting. Click on Privacy and File System.

If we keep this enabled. It will let the user on our system to access to all other files, including the document, pictures videos and other drives by using the setting page. But if we disable this, then the use of other files will be prevented. This is useful to those who are not very smart user and then only we can manage them.
If we wish to disable it then we can turn off the toggle. Always remember if we disable it then it will affect the whole user and the whole operating system.

Disabling apps access to file system.



If we had enabled our File System access for every user, then every user needs to disable it. We had to disable app access to file system in windows 10.
Go to Setting. Click on Privacy and go to File System.
Disable the toggle switch in Allows apps to access your file system.

Separately Disable apps access to pictures and other document separately.



We separately needs to choose the setting for Pictures and other Document. It will contain list of apps which they access and we needs to select them separately.
