  • Initiate Playing Audio Troubleshooter



The audio troubleshooter is invoked via the Control Panel inside the Settings menu. Run the audio troubleshooter and proceed further till execution ends. After running audio troubleshooter check if problem is solved.



  • Perform Troubleshooting in Clean Boot mode -



The clean boot mode runs system with a minimal number of drivers and startup programs which helps in isolating the cause of interfering software. A clean boot mode is generally used to diagnose and troubleshoot the issue on one's computer. Once you are in clean boot mode, enable one process after another till process makes you identify the actual problem.



  • Identify the Status of Windows services



Open the Windows Services Manager by using run command services.msc. Go to Windows Audio Service and double click on it to open properties. Windows audio service manages audio for window based platforms.
If it is stopped – audio effects not function properly.
If it is disabled – it will stop the services that depend on it.
