Why does Laptop Battery gets Overheat

Why does Laptop Battery gets Overheat - There are many companies intended to manufacture laptop batteries. Among them popular faces are Dell, Apple, Toshiba, Lenovo, Sony and others. We use computers hours which directly consume power from batteries when not connected to power supply. Today most of the batteries have lithium ion inside it. Generally, all these batteries do not get overheated on work but this can be possible due to the internal fault. The problems may be overheating, burning, explosion or a fire.

Why does Laptop Battery gets Overheat

In order to understand the reason behind it, we have to know how batteries work and its internal mechanism. It has a negatively charged terminal and a positively charged terminal. The energy from electrochemical reactions causes electrons to collect at the negative pole. Since charged particle are attracted towards opposite charge, so after completion of circuit the electrons will flow from negative pole via circuit to positive pole. So, battery generates electricity. The circulation or moving of electron varies upon the type of batteries.

In lithium ion type battery, there is a pressurized container with coil of metal and a flammable lithium ion liquid. There are tiny pieces of metal that float in the liquid. The manufacturer limits the size and number of metal fragments for good conduct. The cells of a lithium ion battery contain Separators that keep the anode and cathode away from each other.

Now if the battery gets heated during use or recharging, the pieces of metal could move around the container. When these metals get closer to the separator, it can harm the separator and create a short circuit. The short circuit will possibly result into -----

  1. Fire – The short circuit creates a spark through which flammable liquid can ignite causing a fire.

  2. Explosion – If temperature inside the battery rises rapidly it can explode.

  3. Leak out – If it causes the temperature to rise slowly, the battery can melt and create hole.

The demand of thin, lightweight and small laptops is among the major reasons behind overheating, explosion or a fire. Since the reduction in size makes the battery more likely to fail, break, leak or short circuit.

When Task Scheduler gets Infected by Malware

When Task Scheduler gets Infected by Malware

When Task Scheduler gets Infected by Malware - We are familiar with malware attacks on Computer. The hackers infect one or more files and thereby attaining full control on the System. There are millions of victims who had loosen either data or dollars in this respect. In this article we see a System file which is infected by these hackers at first stage. The System file infected by malware at first stage is Task Scheduler Engine (Taskeng.exe). The Task Scheduler Engine is a system file located in C:\Windows\System32 folder. This location is the default location for Taskeng.exe.

The Task Scheduler Engine is responsible for keeping track of tasks set to run at a time predefined by the user of the PC. As said earlier, the original location of this scheduler is C:\Windows\System32 folder. But it is suspicious if the location of scheduler gets change. If it is found in some other folder then it must be infectious. As a result, you constantly get a…

Fix Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter error

A Computer run smoothly with the coordination of Software & Hardware. In the absence of any one it will not run at all. Software being the Master utilizes each hardware attached to the System. And each hardware is operated with the help of Device Drivers installed in it. Operating System (OS) uses these device drivers to control & utilize each hardware when needed. Each hardware connected to the system must have their own Device Driver installed. A device driver is a program to initiate a hardware when required by Operating System.

Suppose, you want your PC to connect to the Network, it can only be possible when your PC has network related Device Driver. These Device Drivers are easily downloaded from Manufacturer Websites. In this article we focus on Network related problem. Suppose, your PC not obtaining Network connectivity. And each time you are getting an error message saying "Windows could not find a d…
