  1. Update the BIOS – For updating Press Win key + R to get Run Window. Type msinfo32 and press enter. Check the BIOS version or date and note it. Check if any new update is available. Update it.

  2. Perform Hard Reset – A. Switch off the power of your Windows device B. Disconnect the charger and remove battery from the device C. Press and hold power button for 30 seconds. This will discharge the capacitors of the board and making memory chips active again. D. Insert battery again and provide power.

  3. Perform Battery calibration – A. Discharge the battery completely B. Now Provide power for charging fully in switched off mode. C. After full charging turn on your laptop and make sure it is fully charged. D. Now disconnect charger and perform operation. Do not charge until charging gets low.

  4. Perform a Battery Checking – This can be done by using any app like BatteryInfoView to monitor the current battery performance with respect of its optimum capacity.

  5. Check Output voltage of Charges – This can be done with the help of a voltage tester or multi meter. If the voltage reading is lower than the threshold voltage written over charger then it must be replaced with the new one.
