Window 10 Safe mode & Other Startup Settings - The dedicated user who has window 10 Operating System in their PC must know more about startup settings and features related to settings.   1. Adjustment from Settings



To start windows in safe mode or other startup settings, user has to follow few steps which are given below.



  1. Go to Start button and choose Settings.

  2. Select Update & Security followed by Recovery

  3. Under Advanced startup select Restart now

  4. After PC restart > choose an option screen > select troubleshoot > select advanced options > select Startup Settings > Restart.

  5. After PC restart, press the corresponding number to select a startup settings from the list of options.




  1. Adjustment from sign-in screen



If the said startup options can't be opened by Settings, go for sign in screen options. The step by step settings through sign in options is given below.



  1. During Sign in screen, hold the shift key down to select Restart under Power option.

  2. After PC restart, screen will show you "Choose an option". Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > startup settings > select restart.

  3. After PC restart, press the corresponding number to select a startup settings from the list of options.
